Boarding and Daycare Policies

 

Canine Cabana’s regular business hours 365 days/year, including holidays:

Monday-Friday 6:30AM-6:30PM, Saturday-Sunday from 7:00AM-6:00PM

The safety and health of your pet is our top priority. All dogs visiting Canine Cabana must be in good health. Vaccinations and health screenings must be completed and submitted to us a minimum of two weeks prior to your dog’s first visit. Some of the following vaccines may have not be given during your normal health screening*. Please contact your veterinarian to confirm.

  • *Bordetella (Canine Cough) – Administered every 6 months.
  • DHPP or DA2PP – Distemper combination
  • Rabies
  • A negative yearly fecal check.
  • Use of a flea and tick preventative. If fleas and/or ticks are found on your dog, we will bathe them immediately and you will be responsible for the bathing charge
  • For the safety of all of our guests, we ask that your dog not attend another facility or dog park at least 14 days prior to coming to Canine Cabana for any of our services

Puppies over the age of 3 months are welcome at Canine Cabana after they have completed their first series of puppy vaccinations and had a health and wellness visit with a veterinarian. Day care dogs over 6 months participating in group activities must be spayed or neutered.

Reservations are required for all services: daycare, daycare enrichment, lodging, training and bathing. Please call ahead since we cannot guarantee that we will have availability for any same day reservations.

Cancellations : Since we hold a reservation for each guest and we schedule our team according to how many guests are participating in activities, we ask that you review and understand the following cancellation policies.

  • Daycare and daycare enrichment: cancellations requested at least 72 hours in advance.
  • Lodging:
    • Cancellations during non-vacation season must be received a minimum of 1 week in advance of the scheduled
    • Cancellations during vacation season must be received a minimum of 2 weeks in advance of the scheduled
    • Since we hold a spot for each guest, deposits will be forfeited for all cancellations received after the above listed cancellation periods. Feel free to call us at any time with any questions. Our customer service team will be happy to answer any questions that you may have. (813)672-9663
